Welcome to the Tanzania Vision Support website. In January 2002 Tanzania Vision Support has started a fundraising programme to support blind and visually impaired children in Tanzania. Our acitivities are focused on small-scale initiatives, which are aimed at improving the level of education for visually impaired children and to increase their independence in daily acitivities. In a country like Tanzania, where less than 2% of all visually impaired children has a fair chance to receive any kind of education, this support is urgently required.

Our work will only be possible with your support! With the donations we receive Tanzania Vision Support is able to give the blind and visually impaired children in Tanzania a better chance to enjoy education and to improve their standards of living.
