Why do we need sponsors?Our work is only possible with your support! You can help us by becoming a Tanzania Vision Support Sponsor. Your small donation can make a tremendous difference for a blind child in Tanzania. Your money will be used to buy simple but effective materials and resources, to support blind and low vision children. Our aim is to have these materials produced by local craftsmen as much as possible, so that the local community will indirectly benefit too. Just an example: The boy in the picture is called Kherefu. Due to his blindness Kherefu hardly left his parent's house, let alone attending a school. By using this 'walker', which was made by a local carpenter for only 4,000 Tanzanian shillings (approximately 4 US Dollars), he has become much more mobile. Hopefully, with our support, soon he will be able to go to a neighbouring special school.
